Everyone has rights with regard to how their personal information is handled. During the course of business, training, employment, and/or any other form of relationship with Malaysian Defensive Driving & Riding Centre (MDDRC) and its subsidiaries, affiliates, associated companies, and/or partners within or outside Malaysia (collectively referred to as “MDDRC” or “the Organisation”), MDDRC may collect, store, and process personal data relating to employees, participants, clients, customers, suppliers, vendors, and other individuals and/or organisations.

 

MDDRC recognises the importance of handling personal data responsibly and is committed to ensuring that all personal data is processed in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner. MDDRC is dedicated to safeguarding the personal data of all stakeholders, including employees, training participants, clients, business partners, suppliers, and any other individuals and/or organisations that entrust MDDRC with their information, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of Malaysia, including the

 

Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).

The types of personal data that MDDRC may collect include, but are not limited to, information relating to current, past, and prospective employees, training participants, clients, suppliers, and any individuals or organisations that MDDRC communicates or engages with. This data may be stored in physical or electronic formats and is protected under appropriate security measures in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

 

MDDRC ensures that personal data is:

    • Collected for legitimate and lawful purposes related to its business and training activities

    • Used only for the purposes for which it was collected

    • Kept accurate, complete, and up-to-date

    • Stored securely to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse

    • Retained only for as long as necessary in accordance with legal and business requirements
